biggest wheel size to fit on a sei sporting abarth (potentially a schumacher).

Sorry - would traul the numerous posts previously made about this, but I need quick opinions.

wheels must go on with no necessary mods.

I want to hear 15"s tbh - but honesty is the best policy.

also tires? biggest size on said wheels?

big plans my friends - big plans...

:slayer:

14"s with no mods, 28" with lots of work.

so pretty much same principle as a cinq then?

I wondered if 15"s would go on - as the sei I am referring to is currently sat on 14"s, and there looks to be enough space without scrubbing...

Any Sei owners rolling on 15"s?

i have seen 15's on cinqs and sei's with 195/45 tyres, but bear in mind if you want to lower it much you might to roll the arches to stop the rubbing (you probably will need to lower it to stop it looking like an off roader!), also the larger rolling radius kills some of your accelaration and will effect your handling,

can i just add(and this is for any guide/FAQ) if you feel any info is missing/irrelivent/wrong then drop me a pm and i'll aim to correct it.
i collated most of the stuff from peoples posts and whatever i could find/remember but obviously im getting old so there will be errors or bits ive missed

Dont bother.. 40mm Drop plus 14"s Looks **** hot, get some Punto GT brakes front + back and people will be wondering what your hiding under the bonnet.

Main problem will be lock reduction is needed. On a Sei 175/50R16 is doable on mild drops (-35mm H&R springs, that's from non-sporting height) you just need to junk or modify the arch liners & carefully select spacers, 195/40R16 however is pushing it unless you go in for body mods.

Personally I'd say a Sei is easier to deal with than a cinq for larger dia wheels as the flared arches takes away a lot of the advantage that junking/modding the arch liners brings.

i run 14"s on a 50mm drop with no problems, and that on 185/50 so ~5% larger diameter to the stock sei 14" wheels, and a 6J alloy (0.5" wider than stock) width with no scrubbing and no lock reduction.

With a 30mm drop I don't see a problem with 15"s.

I run 10mm spacers up front though.
