Technical coupe springs/shocks

Does anyone know if the shocks/springs from a 16v/16vt coupe will fit a mk tipo 16v. I've got lowered springs on mine and its a little too low for my liking.

Physically - probably. Would need to check the weights/turns for how it would drive. Elearn anyone?

Not 16vt, they have bigger mounting points at top of hub. 3mm wider on 16vt i seem to recall. I would guess 16v might be the same but don't know.

coupe is wider so if you used 16v dampers on the front then you'd get positive camber. As for springs they might fit but cant be 100% sure. The rear is far more universal though.

thanks for letting me know, it makes sense the guy who had the tipo before me had KW variant 3's from a coupe on each corner. I'm guessing this caused all of the tyres being worn on the insides (needing replacement).
