Technical coupe not starting

Hi, new to this forum but was wondering if anyone can help with my problem. am currently repairing my sons 20v turbo and we have replaced the gear box and some other bits and pieces by removing engine subfame etc. Have put it back together and it wouldn`t start. traced fault to aftermarket alarm so removed that and it now fires but won`t run. I believe the fuel pump isn`t getting power (no volts at pump connector) no fuel at manifold, so does that mean that the inertia switch has operated? There is a symbol on the dash illuminated which looks like a red injector at 45^ if that makes sense. I have no manuals just flying by seat of pants and almost there. The key code symbol extinguishes so its not that.

The red light i think your talking about is the fuel injection failer light.

Car should still run tho reducec preformance.

It is ok for the light to come on for small periods of time, its just when its on all the time id worry.

If your fuel pump isnt geting any power it wont push no petrol through, anyway when modding our coupes there is a mod we do for getting more fuel pushing trough the fuel pump.

You change the source of power from the usaul 9 volt to 12v.

if you go on www.fccuk.com there is a step by step guide for doing this tho I havnt done it my self yet i no its not to difficult to do.
