can someone please help. I am fitting a new suspension arm to my Fiat coupe (16v 2.0; 1996 model). It is turning out to be a nightmare as I can't get anything to locate - it all seems to need alot of force. Does anyone know the best order to put the suspension arm back in place, including the new drop link.

Thanx for your reply. Sorry if I'm being a bit thick, but I can't find it - can u help - where do I look?

Id say the best way to put it on would be reverse order to it comming off.

As for needing alot of force, well i changed my friends all round pads and discs on his coupe 16vt, I meet him off a a fiat coupe forum I usto be a member of.

It took me best part of 5 hours to get one nut off, what you got to think of is how long has it been since the certain nut as it was in my case has been removed before. If it had at all since it come out of the showroom.

If it is nuts you a having trouble with halfords sell a a shock and nock spray.

As the name explains you spray it on and around nut and thread, let it soak in then nock the spanner/socket with a hammer[not to hard, careful about damaging other parts].

Thats what I use to get sized nuts off.

Hi, these can be a pig !!!I've changed quite a few of these now and it can be done in around 30 mins. Do you live near Luton? I could get accross to assist. If not e-mail me [email protected] and I can talk you through it. Brief notes: it is easier if you fix the front bolts in first but not all the way ( don't forget the bolts are different sizes). I suspect the right hand side rear bolt is causing the problem? The part that goes in side the chassey? I got over this using a jack under the suspension and a long draw bar to ease it into the gap (this is easier with 2 people). Hope this helps, if not e-mail me...Daz
