Hey Guys,

Just, proud to say, rejoing the coupe club. After far too long an absence I have got myself a sweet 20v non turbo.
Drove her back to Cornwall from Bristol today and couldnt stop smiling.
Few little things to do but then thats coupe's for you!
She was cruising at 70mph and the revs were around 3250, is the correct?
Been so long I dont know
She also reads a constant 3 bar oil pressure whilst I am pressing the accelerator, is this right?
Glad to be back in the club!
Am sure I will be posting here a lot from now on.
Coupe's rule! end of.

Matt

Well done :) back in teh fray!
Revs sound about right, however they differ to the turbo variant. the oil pressure sounds fine, it's when you are getting less than 1 bar when hot whilst idleing that you should worry.
You know about fccuk I take it?

My Coupe 20v N/A revs are the same in 5th. Always grabbing the gearstick thinking it's in 4th. Lovely cars though and amazing engine note particularly if you put on a free flow filter the N/A sound better than the turbo's. :)

Yep my oil pressure is quite high also. It's when its low that you have to worry.

Cheers guys, glad to hear all the replies, puts me at ease.
It has a s/s exhaust so the note is nice already but I may drill the old air box and get her singing.
Can you chip the 20v non turbo? Would like to get a little bit more out of her, any ideas??
Matt

Ok Pinin (y) ;)

Run it on some Vmax this is probably just psychological but am sure i'm going faster on it. Chipping will give about 3bhp more for a lot of cost. have heard that cams are the way forward in which case you could then chip it.

Personally a tuned 20v is already out there its called a 20v turbo. ;)
