It has always been a dream of mine to supercharge my Schumacher.
I have just received a pay rise so I'm thinking I wouldn't miss it as I've not had it. So I'm thinking of puting aside to save for a supercharger.

Long story short would the cost implications be?

Thanks dude but I really don't want to do anything as commited as geting a quote yet. I know that will result in me having it done even if it's out of my financial reach.
I'm more looking for ballpark figures to see if it's something I can achieve.

I'd start with forged internals before even contemplating forced induction.

As for figures the popular kit for a BMW M3 3.2 is about 3k without replacement internals bearing in mind the demand for the M3 kits are quite high meaning reductions for higher production numbers.

I thought 3k was probably going to be about right. Then yeah I bet you could probably double that for all the other work that would need doing.
I spose I best get on the hunt for some freelance work lol. That price would be 4 months wages.

Whitz I would like to think that I have found the car I want more than anything else in the world. I just think it needs to be bought up to speed.
The interior will be updated at some point too.

cooper s superchargers are dirt cheap - only around 150quid usually on ebay, and you should be able to retro-fit it to your schumacher. they something like 6bar, but can be tweaked up to 15bar.
sorry if im jacking your thread, but do superchargers go in same place as a turbo would? i really dont know anything about them tbh

Wouldnt be an easy one to get up and running this one I think..space for one and also the lack of a custom crank pulley to run the bitch..crank to charger that is..its already been done and available for my car along with many other jap cars but we are talking Italian here and not jap..those little slitty eyed chaps are light years ahead of the Italians with this kind of stuff..not going to be an easy one this Stu so first off Rob a bank..:p

These do it for my car might be worth checking if they can help you but I wouldnt hold ya breath..;) :(
