This is true, my mum n step dad are in the force, fraud squad and airport branch. Off duty police officers dont try and catch people out like this off their own behalf. any decent officer would not of made a comment attempting to 'scare' or threaten. Mum said that u cant access the car registration database without intention or incident so its all bull****.
