General Coolant Level - 95 Ulysse

Hi all,
I was trying to check the coolant level on my recently acquired 1995 Ulysse 2.0S (which appears to be a turbo version according to the instruction manual, which is in Spanish, and I only understand a little). The expansion tank is located to the rear of the engine bay and placed centrally, however it is fashioned from black plastic so I can't see where the water level is. I opened the cap and peered down the tube, in the neck of which seems to be a red plastic device which I take to be some kind of level indicator. However, it is unmarked, therfore I can't work out where the Max and Min levels are. Does anyone have a similar arrangement to me? If so any advice would be appreciated.

Hi Steve, I've just bought the same model by the sounds of it, and am having the same problem. There's less than 10mm of coolant visible, which doesn't even reach the bottom of the little red thing inside the reservoir. Did you ever figure it out?
