I have a 2017 Anniversario with soft top. The rear window has started leaking into the boot (trunk). I can't interrupt the opening sequence at the point where the bottom of the window becomes exposed, so I can't see where the leak starts. I know there's a drain in there somewhere, and perhaps it's blocked. I want to avoid taking the whole roof off to get at the window, and I'd also like to avoid putting sealant on the outside bottom of the window. Any suggestions? Thanks

As a suggestion can you turn the ignition off and stop the roof moving at the point you want to, I know if it’s an automatic process where you press the button and the roof opens you might not be able to stop it, but with cars you can usually find away round buy cutting the power either with the key or pulling the fuse. The roof on these has a manual process to wind them down/back up if they stop working so you could potentially do what you want by moving the roof via the manual method.
I thought the glass window in the roof on these was stitched/glued into the roof and so if the glass is leaking then you might need to speak to a specialist, smearing sealant around on convertible roofs rarely works.
Thanks. I tried that initially, but the roof reversed movement each time I turned the power off with the key. After a frustrating time doing that, I'm now at the point where the roof is either fully open or closed, and the boot/trunk lid is locked no matter what. Time to head for the specialist....
Check the manual for the manual method of putting the roof up and down, there is also a handle to manually open the boot somewhere in the back of the car if I remember correctly

How sure are you that the leak is from the window? The glass is bonded to the fabric along its bottom edge and it would be very difficult to access the area without removing the whole thing from the car. Have you checked the seal at the top of the boot? Open the boot and make sure the rubber strip is intact and firmly affixed for its whole length. Mine was loose and peeling off when the car was brand new! Even intact it's not a very firm seal.
The nut to manually operate the roof is on the underside of the rear shelf and can be turned with the wheel brace, though a ratchet socket drive would be a lot easier and quicker. Having said that I've never done it!

Also, if you can't open the boot it's likely because the roof control module has lost track of where the roof is. If you run the roof initialisation procedure it should return to normal.
