Were you allowed to drive back in your car after the test?!?? Surely you would have had to notify insurance first, or not? Or does that only relate to driving instructors' cars.
when i passed my test i wasnt allowed to drive the car back home and they strongly reccomend you dont drive the same day so when i got home.......i rang my insurance company and then drove my little punto to work - i never do as i am told :slayer:

Who strongly recommends? I would have thought that would have been the best thing to do - jump in the car and off you go....woo hoo....

instructors and dsa coz they say coz your on a high you dont concentrate as much
Whereas now, after 15 years of driving, my concentration is intense?! Hmm, whilst on phone, booping to the song, eating chocolate, playing with the Nav unit, etc, etc.....

I thought the first post was a joke there!

Eh, after I passed my test I didn't get to drive for a month! Then spent ten months driving a Rover 620! Bit different from the Corsa I passed in but it learnt me to be more careful and the size of the car gave me good experience plus I crammed in loads of miles on mixed roads which I would say helps cos you could do 15k a year compared to someones 7k.

Well done Lora, be careful and please don't hurt your pristine Cinq!

Pah! 120 in a Cinq on the M1 on a Monday morning makes you realise how alive you really are!

my brakes are good enough for the challenge. 100-50 took my breath away the other week. Makes a nice noise too :D

My bike brakes stop me from 10mph (maximum speed as I am too unfit :p) to 0 in a few metres thank you very much :p

I am a lot more environmentally friendly.
