Config. Error

Hi all,

Picked up my 500 on thursday and so far loving it although i have one problem. I got the sony ericsson x10 on the knowledge that it works with blue and me as discussed in another post. However, although my phone connects and calls and the phonebook was synced etc the message reader just wont work. I decided that i might need the sony patch downloaded it to mem stick and when i plug it in and turn the car to MAR as the instructions say it just comes up 'config. error'.

Anyone any ideas as to how to fix or what i am doing wrong?

Mem stick is formated to FAT32 and as far as i know i am following the instructions to the letter

I've got a SE W995 and when i first got it it wouldn't read SMS either. I fixed the problem by downloading the latest update for B&M and the SE Patch at the same time and haven't had any problems since.

If you are having problems using the patch on the car i would suggest you re-format your memory stick and start again. Make sure you follow Fiat's instructions for downloading and installing the patch as if you don't follow each step correctly it can mess up the whole process
