conections on amp

im in a bit of a ponder? i think i know where the wire go but just to double check, my amp has RMT which im gussein is the remote wire goes into an the 12V in the power cable? an there is another one GND is that the earth?

one more thing when it comes tro boltin in the amp into the boot what do u do? just screw it thought the metel? its a bit woring like?

You're right with the connections.

I have always preffered to isolate the amp body from any metal in the car (ie, the rear seat), eg. miount some wood to the back seat, then mount the amp to the wood.

oh i see what your saying so would u screww the wood into the back of the back seat? if there was a passenger could they feel the screww in there back like? lol

Only if you used a very long screw!!!

My wood amp mounts are 18mm MDF with 25mm (metal) countersunk self tapping screws into the back seat.

If you do for any reason drill into the floor or inner body panels, check first theres nothing underneath/behind as people have been know to pierce their fuel tanks putting screws and such through the floor! The seat is the safest bet as you know theres nothing behind them only the seat foam.
