Can anyone help me out by advising me what alternative engine models I can condsider to get a con-rod and crankshaft for my sons Doblo 1.9 non-turbo diesel. I have advertised on the wants section, failing this I need to get a single con-rod as cheap as possible.

I can't answer you question but have a suggestion. Have you tried any of the online salvage web sites? You enter what you are looking for and any breaker who can supply contacts you.
