Component speaker advice

Time to upgrade a little. When the 1.2 goes so will my current components as I placed the tweeter in the door card. This means I will be on the look out for another set of components upfront.
They will be powered by my JBL GTO6000 amp. I'm obviously after a crystal clear sound from the tweeter and a nice deep sound from the woofer with no distortion.
Looking to pay upto £100 notes on a set. Size not important as long as I can cram them in.
Anyone have any suggestions?

I've got kicker kx series 5" components in mine in the factory locations and they do the job very well for the price (powered my a kicker kx200.2 amp) but will be changing them when the door builds are ready. The kickers are only about £50 delivered and have a clean sound with not over harsh treble, and they take the power of the amp okay too (about 88wrms)

I got a nice set of 16" components made by fusion for just over £100...got them from Alcester Audio (ebay shop)

they sound and look ace !!

or i have the alpine type r's. just a touch over the ton, but you might be able to get them a touch cheaper in a discount or something.

mine are running through my kicker ix1302 amp and lap up every last touch of what i throw at them, very impressed (esp as they were a bday pressie)

ash has heard them, and that with my install sorted he said it was a completley diff system, which to me is accolade enough

Smee, what fusion stuff can you get cheap? Have the chance to buy back my old dual 2 ohm jonah 15" sub, so may be interested in one of the new jonah amps and perhaps a pair of jonah components if you can get some.
Was going to go with all orion stuff otherwise and sell all my kicker gear/put it in another car.

I have Infinity Components in mine and they are not amped and sound crystal. Not much Bass from the woofers though, but the JBL Subs i've got and the clarity from the Infinities seem to go well. The Amp is also a new JBL Mono Competition Amp.

They only cost £70-£80. Probably cheaper on Ebay. Got mine for £45 as i purchased in Bulk for mine and my bros car.

I just bought a set of second hand Focal Polyglass jobs, yet to fit them but no concerns over the build - they look bullet proof. Took me 4 weeks of searching to find the right set for the right price though.
