quick question which has probably been covered loads of times but want to know a definant answer. ive got on to compomotive and wanted to fit some deep dish MLs (like ghostwkd i think) and was told that the MLs were too wide and they suggested the CXR (which are 6X13) and they still wont give me a qoute (saying that the fiats intended size was 4inch wide?) and even tho i've told them that6j is only 0.5 inch bigger than sporting wheels they think it'l still be too big, any suggestions to help me persuade there madness?? or DONT they actually fit?? Oh by the way my cinqs lowered 40mm,

The MLs I dunno. I think the issue may be that they foul Punto GT calipers (which is a real PITA and pretty much negates any reason for fitting them). The MOs fit in 35 et, 14" x 6J with 196/45/14s. There should be a photo -- maybe in Donna or my or J333EVO's galleries showing them on the car. You could send them that........... ;).

You need 3mm spacers at the back, 8mm at front.

Compomotive have just supplied Willis on CC with a set of CXR's 13"x6" for his sei.

Nitranes has them on his cinq so they deffo do fit.

thats exactly what i said, this is over email, and i've probably got someone who cant be assed with doing research, i said about spacers and he said it'l stop the fouling but will still have problams?? im preety sure that with spacers theres gonna be no fouling!!:bang: all i wanted was a qoute!!! out of interest do you know how much willis paid for them??
 
or you could just look at my car in the garage if you want to see 14x6 mo's on a cinq ;)

haha ok will do! he did tell me that they are in the stages of making a 5.5X13 Minilite (which is pretty useless if we can get most over wheels to fit!) and i also know that the discontinued -60mm gmax kits/springs are being brought back into production in a few months (y)
 
oh im really confused now!! i font know what to get shall i stick with 13's and go deep dish? because i was going for the streetbasser look? or do i got 14's and let them feel the arches abit because the cinqs not as low as i'd like it to be:mad:
 
Lukey P, what's the name of the person you're dealing with at Compomotive mate? I spoke to a lad called James right the way through my order process. He even called me to let me know when my wheels were entering production. I personally couldn't fault their customer service. I can give you his email address if you like?

Secondly, I paid £405 for the 1362's. This included postage. This price also included the non-standard finish I had them put on the wheels which is a matt-black. I think for a set of 13x6 1362's in standard finish you would be looking at around £300-£350, so I imagine the ML's will be around the same price.

They took 2 weeks from start to finish to make mine as I had them change the offset on my set to ET 24, this has given me approximately 12mm extra track each side without the need for spacers. Hope that's a help for you. PM me if you want James' email.;)

Currently lowered -30mm too and no problems with any clearance using 175/50/R13 Yoko' A539's. The only way I could see you having problems with going much wider than 6J would be on the rear where there isn't much room between the inside of the wheel and trailing arm.

my cinq is lowered 55mm i think. the 14's dont scrub the arches at all (y)

DAM U GUYS:D i think im just gonna go for anything with a deep dish or at least a lip:eek: BUT, i really do like rallycinqs 1's:bang:
