Hi all, anyone know how easy it is to disassemble the front bumper once removed? There's a large black cover under it (the engine tray/shield connects to it), does it just unclip or unscrew?

Contemplating ordering a pre-painted replacement front bumper to replace my lacquer peeled one. Rather than a paint over paint, it'll be a brand new bumper sprayed accordingly which I find rather appealing. Downside is, everything has to come off the old bumper and connected to the new one.

Any tips most welcome :)

Sand down your original bumper and spray over it make sure you do the prep work properly though there's lots of videos on YouTube.

The amount you will be spend on a front bumper, you are better of going to a professional car body shop and having the bumper sanded down resprayed and lacquer on it...

The cost is pretty much irrelevant, I'm just liking the idea of a new bumper but weighing up just how much work is involved.
