Are the Engines From Bravo/a & Marea's interchangeable?

I'm on the look out for a replacement to the 1.4 12v currently residing in my Brava.

someone will be along in a moment to tell you not to bother with an engine swap....if you want a bigger engine ....go buy a bigger car.
