Commuting

Evening all, I live over on the Multipla forum. Had mine about two years and quite like it apart from the minor irritations which are starting to add up...So I'm thinking about buying a second car for commuting in and for wifey if she needs it. I currently do 250miles a week commuting and total 20K a year including hols and weekends. I want to get something a bit more economical and wonder how far people commute in thier Fiats? I'm thinking I may have to go for a Jap motor for reliability and I'm worried running two Fiats will kill me! I would quite like a Seidici or Punto though!

Any thoughts?

I've been doing about 200 miles a week every week since I bought my 100HP last august and it hasn't missed a beat so far, it averages about 35-38mpg with pretty enthusiastic driving and has been absolutely brilliant in all this awful weather that we are having in the south-west.
