Thanks, and yes that’s the reason I posted as that feeling of “am I up for 10k - 15k for a new gearbox” isn’t a nice one. Diagnosis could have been difficult I’m just lucky the transmission guys not far from me are fantastic apparently people come great distances to have them sort their transmission issues. I had to wait 4 weeks just to get in, then they had it sorted in 2 days.
