Hi can someone tell me what adapter is needed for the attached picture . I have a code reader but none of my adapters will fit so i need to order another on that will fit so i can read the error codes.

hi its not the reader thats the problem its the odb2 16 pin sockets that do not fit i have round for bmw 2 types of rectangle but none are like this

Looking at the pic, I would say its a standard OBD2 connecter.
 
Hi if you look closley the odb2 in this oc is slopped on both sides and the first one on the van is different on the van

The plug you have in your hand is the right one for the socket in the op. But your plug looks a bit squashed on the lower short side so it might not fit the socket very easily. There is a latching tab on the plug short side which engages the lug on the lower side of the socket shown. I should just push on easy.
 
u can see straight away plug is battered it will never fit like this as said already needs put right before it will fit
 
Thanks for your reply sorted and that out the code that came up was DC-01 if anyone cane help.
