Hi, at first time: excuse my english.
I have FIAT MAREA Weekend 1.9 JTD 105 (2000) and I have this problem. When I want start my cat and I put a key IN and turn key to first possition, CODE lights is ON and still ON. Other funcion - glowing(warming), fuel pump inject etc not working. I turn key off and try it immediately again - same issue. Byt when I try it example 15 times, CODE light go off and engine start glowing(warming), fuel pump inject and etc. Afret that I can start my car. ECU test show this probem: Bad reading immobiliser chip. But inductor, cable and encoding box is GOOD. And I thing, so when outdoor temperature is <7°C problem start. IF sun shine, temperature is > 12°C - no problem.
Please help me, if you can.

a lot of people have said a failing battery causes these problems with the code light and at lower temperatures the battery will produce less power. so it may be worth trying a new battery

cheers
