Just found this post from ages ago and the same has happened to me, if Pete can remember what part of the clutch went was it the part under the dash, the clip that goes to the pedal.
If it is mine has gone, anyone know how much the part will cost, i'm guessing I need a new clutch cable

It was the hooked end of the cable that snapped on mine, needed a new cable (£15 from Fiat).

yeah thats the aprt that gone on mine, the guy seemed to think it was a common problem

common as hell i'd say. same thing has happened to me on my cinq, and someone else i know who's got a seicento.
 
cluutch cable now replaced, total cost of job £65 including changing timing belt at 40,000, not back to powerflow:D
