There is very little pressure in my clutch, I've a 2001 110JTD, I went out started the car and there wasn't any pressure. After pumping it a few times a little bit came but I can't engauge any gears. I had a look to see if its a broken pipes but no leaks found . Any ideas on what it could be? The car had a new clutch just under 10,000 miles ago with a replacement gearbox.

Yeh i checked the fluid, but forgot to say. It was low so after posting I removed the battery tray and fluid it leaking from the seal inside. New one ordered, £25.26 from halfords, should be here monday morning and back on the road I hope. Keep you up dated.

Sadly it is the clutch that has gone and I can't afford to fix it, the cheapest I can get a clutch near to me is just over £140, so shes up for sale now (n).

Unless you've been doing the WRC Welsh rally in the car, I'd say you've been done with your last "new" clutch.

Sounds like the slave cylinder was gone in any case (very common on all Tipos/Bravas/Mareas), this shouldn't have wrecked your clutch.

The only thing I have really done with my car is tow a saxo on an A frame and towed my mate clio sport, the garage think that it could be a fault pressure plate as its done less than 10,000 miles and not been under excess load or pressure.
