Technical Clutch problem

Hi, I am new to this site and hoping for some advice. I have a 1996 ducato 14 2.5tdi motorhome, bought it 8month ago, when I got it the previous owner had not long since had the clutch replaced whilst in France, after I bought it I found the 4th gear crunched when engaging , I managed this by changing at 28mph to stop the crunch. All other gears were 100% fine. However now just started struggling to engage first and reverse when stopped not crunching but very tight to engage and more so once van warmed up. The clutch pedal is quite low, below level of brake pedal. Is it likely it wasn't adjusted fully when done in France? There's no burning smell and only done about 4k miles since clutch change, also gear box was reconditioned less than 10k miles ago . Thank you , mark.

Hi if clutch bites low to floor chances are it needs adjusting
