clutch problem

hi iam new to this forum hope i posted it the right part
i have a fiat punto 1.2 y reg the relice bearign when i have chanced it put a new clutch and bearing on and put all back as it should go, started it back up finds all gears, but when it gear and i lift the clutch up it doses bite go drive and i can get outa of the car with car in 1st gear or any gear ans it wont stall or drive, iam thinking the bearing has come off could this be whats happed, if not could any one shed and light on to this please
any hlp would be really greatfull
