Hi Guys,

Im having a problem with my 1998 1.4s Fiat Bravo, problem is sometimes when i start the car and go to put it in first with clutch to the floor just wont go in at all, so whta im having to do is when car is off put it in first then start it with handbrake on and let it stall, then when i turn car back on will go into first gear with slight force, could it be that my clutch need bleeding? can this be done with two people?

Getting worried now as i need the car for work and the problems getting worse.

Any help would be appricted

Check the clutch slave cylinder, under the battery tray ontop of the gearbox for leaks. Also check the brake, clutch reservoir to see if the levels are fine. DOesn't sound like a bad clutch. More likely the slave cylinder, or atleast a leak originating from there.

ok will do, so you reckon will need bleeding, did brakes bout 4 months ago and ever since the clutch pedal sags have to lift it up with foot, bite point gets realy low until i lift it up.
