clutch g/b problem!?

hi all, i have a bravo hlx, there is a problem- the car will not go in and out of gear while the engine is running, gears can be selected when engine is off?
so i i am assuming the clutch is not disengaging? am i right in thinking they have hydraulic clutches? could there be a leak somewhere or do you think it will be the clutch?
anyone had this problem? i will be gratefull for any input!

i had the same problem as you, found out that the barings of the clutch was dead, so had to replace the whole clutch

Just like anon said, but check your brake fluid level and the slave cyl first

check the slave cylinder first if its not that then its definatly the clutch

check the brake fluid if its low then its more than likely the slave cylinder.
