Technical clutch fluid leak

I have noticed a hydraulic fluid leak from the clutch area but cannot see where it is coming from. The union from the solid to the flexible pipe is fine so the leak is nearer the clutch - where it is not possible to see.
Is there a "usual suspect" for this ?

Would probably assume slave cylinder. Not leaking inside the car is it? My master cylinder went and made a nice mess on the carpets. Wasn't impressed.

yes, it is indeed the slave cylinder.
I just ordered a repair kit fir only £8. not bad eh!

How much is a whole new Slave? It may be worth considering.

Most of the faff is getting under the car and onto the gearbox to get the old one out... if the old slave has a worn or scored rod, it makes sense to put a new slave altogether in there. New seals might not last so long if the rod is damaged.
