Whenever I press the clutch down, and raise it back up, it makes a crunching sound that I can both hear and also feel with my left toes. The clutch was changed at 80000 km, it's only 45000 old now. Any ideas? The car is a 1.2 liter Bravo.

more than likely the thrust bearing

what is your driving style like, grandad slow, sedate, enthusiastic or drive it like you stole it???

differing driving stlyes can greatly shorten the clutch life, alnog with slipping the clutch, sat with the clutch dissengaged at junctions etc with just the peddal depressed

The clutch works well except for that little noise that it makes. Haven't been sliding it etc. I drive cars for my salary, so I know how to use my clutch preservingly :). That's why it's kinda strange, along with the fact that it works well otherwise.

sounds like the thrust bearing is on its way out tbh. it should be fine for quite a while but i would start saving now.
