If I remember correctly they do a 2.4 over there as well. They also have a different back end that looks great.
We have some friends who live near Siena in Italy. He is involved in the 4X4 breaking business, but on his travels he has come across a Marea SW with a knackered 2.0 motor and a Lancia Lybra with very heavy rear end damage. The engine in the Lancia was a 2.4 5 cyl petrol. Any prizes for guessing what happened? Yep. A 2.4 175 bhp Marea SW. Next step (last time we spoke) was to have a new inlet manifold fabricated to accept a turbo. One benefit of being in the motor trade in Italy is the number of veteran mechanics who've had experience of one-off or limited run bespoke engine building, so who knows what will happen next.

Good, some one news about? Do you have pictures of this engines?? We have here in Brazil so much 2.4 5 cyl gasoline engines, is a fantastic engine. Now, have some turbo, impressive performance.
