Hey guys was just having a bit of a google and found this!

These guys love their mareas!!

yeah, the brazillians do love mareas, they get the 20vT's etc.

i have known about the site for along time now but unless you speak brazillian its not a great use, some of them are members here though

If I remember correctly they do a 2.4 over there as well. They also have a different back end that looks great.

what 2.4 petrol engine ? totally cool think i'll try to see if they can be imported. 2.4 marea

yes they have a 2.4 petrol in the new models, cant remember which tear they came out but they do have them, be warned as they cost a bomb other there!

i'm probably being silly here but isn't the 2.4 petrol engine the same as or a pre developed Stilo Abarth 2.4 20v engine? Or am I just stating either something everyone knows or just plain wrong lol?

I'd guess its pretty much the exact same engine other than a few minor differences as I don't think Brazil got the Stilo and the Marea had a longer run of production over that way. So much longer that they got a revised model with a different rear end when I think production over here ceased.

lets hope the revised rear end looked better than the Uk model's. I think the front of my marea looks aggro as hell, but the back looks like a teddy bear put pixie dust into the designer's coffee.

you ever see the video named Marea 2.0 20v Turbo GT28RS? That thing is wildquick, it goes from 4k/mh up to about 120k/mh in less than the blink of an eye. I was laughing all the way through the video. Mental

Amazing that Tomasso! I feel happy, because our intention is to help realy! We love Marea here, but is a select public love Marea. Is an amazing car.
