General Clock and Thermometer Ideas Please

i would like to fit a clock and thermometer unit, similar to those found in vauxhalls since 1995ish, can anyone suggest something that might work well, also positions on where i could install such an object and how, wiring is not a problem as i'm an electrician.

Its Alot Of Work, but i custom made my dials, got the digital speedo from a picasso etc, cost me well over £500 in total, light up digital rev counter clock etc etc, took me about 100 hours, Now it looks the nuts some scruffy wires under the hood, but its livable, the hardest part was making the cast for it to all fit in, given the chance i would do it all over again.

poundland sell a digital thermometer/clock, you could remove the casing and mount it on your dash or instrument panel if you cut a hole the size of the digital display and mount it behind. only proble is it isnt backlit so it wont light up at night unless you install seperate lighting.
