Technical Climate control 1.9 JTD ELX ??

Help before our hot summer arrives........

When switching my air con fan to auto and my temp to 18c on a recently warm day, I would have thought that the air con light would switch on to show that the air con system needed to operate to cool the cabin.

For some reason it ddn't, on my old Alfa 156 it did.

By the way my air con does work if I press the button.

NO ! The aircon only works when YOU press the button.
Good system really- you can have cold air from outside without the poor economy from using the aircon pump all the time.
