Ok just changed the GPS for a 2008 Eleganza JTD. Really liking the car and not missing the poke of the GP too much yet... Now, how do you guys clean the dash? I am a bit reluctant to us chemicals in case they stain and getting in with a hoover looks pretty difficult and I would think a upholstery brush will snag the fabric.

I use wide parcel tape!
You stick lengths down onto the dash till you have a nice big square of it and then pull it off taking with it all the dust etc.
The big square of tape is reusable in a new area a couple of times more till the stickyness is overcome with bits. Then repeat with a new bit.
Hope that helps.

A bit firmer than a paint brush.Something like a pasting brush.I don't even know where the brush I use came from but it does the job.The tape thing sounds a good idea(y)The fabric is tougher than you think but I wouldn't use a wire brush:D

Hi. I use a cylinder Dyson with the brush attachment on the fabric. It is a good brush cos it swivels to give different angles. Used it on the old uglybug and now on Myrtle too. I also sweep this carefully over the instrument panel and all over the dash really. Just don't use excessive pressure and you won't scratch anything. (y)

Have you tried one of the sticky rollers that are used to remove fluff from clothing?
