Clean Engine Bay

I'm looking to clean up the engine bay of my 1.8 HLX. (The cam-cover) Does anyone recommend any particular products? I tried some 'heavy-duty engine cleaner' from Halfords which was useless.

Any suggestions?

I just had some amazing stuff from Demon Tweeks.... have a look at there website http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk

Have a look in their cleaning section.... they have some fantastic products

They do an extra tuff surface cleaner.. i've not found anything it dont remove lol.. great stuff for everything including engine bay.

Its under .... Preformance, Accsessorys... cleaner etc...

chris dont bother with cleaners get some sand paper and sand the rocker cover down and you will get a mirrior like finish i have started mine and its look class. start with 80 grit paper this will take off the crap it will leave scratch marks though witch is why you use 140 or 180 grit after that use 1000 wet n dry then move up to 1200wet n dry then use t-cut to polish.

by the way this does take time and hard work but if your lazy like me spread it over a week or do it when you have free time
