Technical Clattering Noise on Steering Wheel.

I now have another problem with my 2001 Multi 1.9 JTD. Just noticed when I turn the Steering Wheel from left to right a loud Clattering or knocking noise comes from the area around the Cam Belt, although nothing appears to be loose that I can see. It also occurs when I lift the clutch in a Low Gear especially 1st or 2nd!. Your help would be greatly appreciated guys!
