Hi all, just thought I'd introduce myself and my car :)
This is my first Fiat, a Cinquecento with a 1242 8v punto engine, stripped out, mildly tuned and an abarth body kit.
It's a great fun little car and plans are just to service/maintain it and enjoy it!
Few little bits I want to do as well -
replace the front tyres, change the old tow strap for a yellow one, good clean and polish!
The clutch peddle is also a little sticky to release and doesnt have much feel, wondered if any of you had any suggestions to improve that?

Cheers, Jo (y)

Wow! What a great looking Cinquecento! Wheels look great, some sort of OZ or something?
What tuning parts are on it?
Sorry, can't help with the clutch pedal problem though, I'm sure someone far more knowledgeable than me will be around soon! :)

Hi and welcome to the forum and glad to hear you are enjoying your cinq and it does look like a clean one :D
as for the clutch pedal feel/travel it certainly sounds as though you should be thinking about changing the clutch cable and also the clutch assembly itself as it sounds as though the fingers on the pressure plate has given up the ghost nearly:bang: if you are mechanically minded or know someone who is then its not a hard job to do and there is plenty of info in guides/faqs to get you all the way thru replacement:D:D

thanks for the replies :) I'll definately change the clutch cable and see if that helps, I was told the clutch had been changed recently so hopefully it won't be that! Still, not a mammoth task if it is.
The tuning bits it has are - punto 75 cam, tricker 40mm tb, mckrick chip, gsr induction kit. I've no proof of any of this of course but it certainly goes well!
No more pics yet, but its having a wash tomorrow so I'll probably chuck a few more up then.

Yeah he mentioned he used this site and went to some shows in Scotland. He said he'd had it 7 years so it should have been looked after :)
