Hi all. Can anyone point me in the right direction with my 899 Cinq? The problem is that when the engine is cold it's difficult to keep it running for the first 20 seconds or so. The engine idles unevenly & it has a sort of pulse. It runs great then tries to die then picks up again then tries to die & so on. As i said, this mostly only happens when its cold although occasionally it will happen when its idling at normal op temp. Other than this the car runs fine & has plenty of power all through the rev range. Also the injector light is on permanently. Is there any way of resetting the light or is this part of the problem with the cold idling? I have recently reset the ECU as per the Haynes manual as the car had absolutely no power but the light didn't reset.

Cheers. Andy

P.S. A big thanks to Rallycinq for the advice recently

Thanks again for the advice. Will check the resistance tomorrow. Is the cold temp sensor the one in the top of the block or the one in the thermostat housing? Also what kind of reading should i expect? Cheers. Andy

Thanks for the replies the other day. I have checked the resistance of the temp sensor & there isn't any. Did it while the engine was cold. Where do i go from here? Cheers. Andy
