Was just wondering, what are the widest tyre's you can fit to a cinq 900? its on a 95 plate if that helps any1 lol

What wheels are you using?

D
have'nt bought any new wheels yet just want to see what the biggest i can put on with out fouling or loosin any steering
Cheers:worship:
depends on the offset of the wheel fitted, i have some 15" alloy wheels with a 30mm offset and they are 195/45 tyres and they hit the rear arches over bumps, my other cinq has 14" wheels also with 195/45 tyres and iy takes a very big bump to make them hit.
so i ould say no more then 195 without modifications
to be honest, you got a 899 cinq, bigger wheels will do u more harm that good, due to the lack fo power!
hmm .. if the 13" steelies he got and the 14" rims is similar weight, then yes it won't make a difference. Is not the size but the weight that matter for the 899!
But where can u those wheels?

13" minilites thenwhen lowered they look the buisness on a cinq
buy a sporting spend the money on that![]()
lol was thinkin bout that maybe a low boost turbo conversion toolol
beg to differ mate if your 899's where short on power there was summit rong lol my cinq 899 can keep up with most round town puttin 14's with lower profile wouldn't really alter the geometry at all goin to 18's or summit would make a diff but not 14's i'v got mechanics that back that quote up lol
Allright last post was obvously way too subtle TRY SEARCHING
Turbo on a 899 forget it, spend your money down the local knocking shop you will get more go for your blow for your buck down there than you will feel much more satisfied as a result.
TBO unless you want to do something like rallycinq has done with his car just enjoy the ecomony and parkability (if there is such a word) of an 899 and save up for the insurance on something faster and better, don't waste your money
