General Cinq project

hey, i have 2 nackered cinq's and im making 1 working one out of them, i have recently took out the dash and everything and cut the main wireing loom that comes from the engine bay, i have done the same to my other cinq as i am changing the dash, the dash out of my project is the sx model dash, the one im puting in is just the simple cinq dash, will this make any difference, and there are alot of wires the same colour in the wireing loom will it affect anything if i just match all the colours up on the other side ? if you understand that.

What model is the "simple dash" from? Just the base model?

yea the dash im putting in the cinq sx is just the base model dash and im changing the windows to manual insted of electric

I think it should be OK, but you will need to test stuff as you go.

There was really no need to cut, I know its a bit late now, but the connectors are all very similar.

Yes, wrap up the tappets before removing the rocker bar though.
