Afternoon all
I have not been on here for a little while due to selling the sporting, but now have a SX that i have been driving for a few weeks, but it has started to play up a little.
The problem that i am having is it over revving at idle, if i remove the vacuum pipe from the valve locationed next to the where the ECU is and block the pipe up, it then seems to run ok.
So i bought a new valve unit and replaced it, plugged the pipe back on and it is still doing the same.
Just for clarity, this vacuum pipe comes from teh front of the carbarutor and runs to a small black plastic units which sits by the side of the ECU.
What could be the problem with my car.
