Technical Cigarette lighter

Hi All

I have a fiat Ducato 2.3 multi jet

Not that we use it but the cigarette lighter does not work

I have changed the fuse in location in F44 but still no joy.

Any ideas

if yours is a 2011 model I believe that the two cigarette / power sockets are F14 & F15 in the engine fuse box

Also have you checked if the cigarette lighter earthing point is loose/disconnected as well as if there is power to it.
I often use a multimeter to test for these points.

Is it possible that the socket is unplugged behind the dash? On my x244 when new, the power and cigarette lighter sockets were functional, but when I was checking the fusing I found that the wiring between the sockets and the fuses was crossed. I managed to reach behind the sockets and swap the connectors.
