General chugging engine noise 1.6

my engine has developed chugging noise , could this be caused by low oil , also has rough idle , thanks in advance?

Are you certain it's running on all four cylinders? Chugging noise could be associated with faulty ignition/injector.

No I am not sure its running on all four cylinders , how do i check ? it has had new injectors already , only thing i did was change the plugs

No disrespect but if you don't know whether it's running on 3 or 4 cylinders you need to find a good independent or local mechanic that can help you.

Having said that, if you've changed the plugs - I'd check that first.

With the car running, take off each spark plug lead in turn, USE insulated pliers and don't grip too hard. If the car is running on 3 cylinders, taking the faulty plug lead off will not make a difference.
