just rang them up to check out changing it - not affecting insurance and stuff

And They because im Under 25 IM NOT allowed to change the car in anyway...............

Do i still put it in or just sell it?
Could be £67 Down the drain

I always say you get what you pay for!

Some policies are competitive but very restrictive and may sting you when you make ANY alterations, eg. change address, reg, etc.

We have no problems re mods on the official Fiat Forum scheme - 0800 917 2274 or 01580 752961.

if its just a standard replacement tell them to get stuffed and do it anyway....

Increases Value
Makes it more appealing to theives

Well it dont affect handeling, nor performance
The value will be same as its just a Punto Dash still
And Theives will steal a car weither or not if it has a Rev Counter or not so :lol:

I will ring them up and explain it fully but the price reflects restrictivness
Oh well if worst comes to worst - its gonna be sold on
But the new dash looks 10x better then my current one....

i wouldnt of thought that an insurance company would care.

we cant tell you directly what to do or not to do for certain reasons. but i think you have got the picture now

Modification A.K.A 'Mod' Is adding, or changing anything that wasn't on the car when it left the factory. Changing the Dash is doing this although anything being said in the event of a claim / accident is very unlikely, Personally I'd just do it.

(as it was for the speakers in there too!! )

Exactly, if its just a new intrument panel with a rev counter fitted I wouldn't worry. People won't know it didn't come on your spec of car etc.

Just like if my car had Colour coded bumpers
Or Alloys

However if i put alloys on - i'd loose out if it was wrote off
