Not sure about this by any means, but more pointless lists involving the 'great' Christmas songs are out:

Band Aid's 2004 version of Do They Know It's Christmas? is the decade's best-selling seasonal song in the UK, according to new figures.

The hit beat Christmas Time (Don't Let The Bells End) by rock band The Darkness into second place, the Official UK Charts Company has said.

The Pogues' 1987 hit Fairytale of New York at number three is the highest-placed song recorded before 2000.

The figures were compiled from the decade's physical and digital sales.

Makes you wonder! So what's everyones favourite Christmas song?

I work in retail and therefore despise most Christmas songs. There's only maybe four I like, one of them having been mentioned by Andi. Other three are...

1) Let it Snow - Vaughn Monroe (reminds me of Die Hard, which is also one of the best Christmas films of all time. The proper version is ridiculously difficult to find though)
2) Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) - Darlene Love (Gremlins :D )
3) Fairytale of New York - The Pogues and Kirsty MacColl (only other one that I don't tire of)
