I always forget then say I get them something good in the sales, then don't bother...happens every year :) I'm a tight git

I'm going to buy myself a Civic Type R.

3 problems though......

Red, Black or Silver?

Dont do it.I used to have the accord type r.Theres nothing better for aggressive on the limit driving but there gutless under 4k.And that brings you to the downside.I took mine on holiday and did a thousand miles in it.I got back and got rid.Any hill or incline you have to change from 5th to 3rd rev the ****** off it and then into 5th again.I hate that.I like power in 5th gear as it makes for a more relaxing and economical drive.

blabk with a black leather retrim with green piping !

black n green leather looks mint!

ok forget the car stuff for a second guys...

type R dont bother

brother had one, wasnt much to drive...very fast but unconfortable..
and stupid insurance despite driving for a long time..

im persuading my self to a Celica GTFOUR when i am 20+ i think they look mint

I imagine the price of running a GT4 (if you can ever find a good one) would be horrendous. My mate looked for one for years then gave up and bought the new Celica 190, I don't like it that much but it still goes like sheeite off a shovel.

ooooooooh a mint celica gt4.Now your talking.Theres a black one near me and it looks superb.I have never seen it move other than out his garage to be cleaned and then back in again.A s-reg i think, big spoiler, rally flaps, big stock wheels and sits lurvely.I think there 220bhp.Mr2 engine isnt it.....

why not try a skyline instead, i like `em and there fast and miles better than a scooby

FIAT BRAVO, why settle for anything less.

Forget the Jap stuff and stick with the Italian cars, Lancia Delta Integrale, quicker than a GT Four, just not quite as reliable.

Ahhhh....the Integrale.

Bits fall of when you slam the door, rusts to the core with alarming rapidity, Lefthand Drive.....Old, Dated. However......I would very much like an Integrale, but common sense puts me off.

As some of you may know, I used to have an Integra Type-R a few years back and it was quite dated, so I kpet it for 10 months and sold it for what I paid for it. I quite like the engines' characteristics and above all, it was (relatively) bulletproof.

What does it for me with the Civic Type-R (and I have driven quite a few recently), is the 200 (or so) bhp. Not everyone's cup of tea, but the bulid quality and reliablity factor score very highly for me. I mentioned perhaps selling my 145 Cloverleaf soon and whilst it is a lovelly car, it's build and reliablity is indifferent and poor, respectively. It's also cost an arm and a leg to keep roadworth and in tip top condition. Als, Frau Ramjet wants another BMW.

I've also thought quite a bit about the Mazda RX8, but I have heard horror stories about rotary engines. You cant exactly nip down the breakers for a spare set of rotor tips, can you?

So, that leaves the new Golf GTi,the Audi TT 225 or the Alfa 147 GTA. The Golf's are hideously expensive and the Audi's are a bit to "pudding like" for me, and everyone that I have said "Alfa GTA" to has said, "NO NO NO NO NO NO" in reply; so.....it looks like it's going to be the Honda. Unless of course something else grabs my attention. Which it probably will do. Alfa GTV 3.0 V6 - that's more like it!

I agree with your Grale comments but theres something really special about them. The crank failed on mine within about halfhour of buying it and after a full rebuild including new turbo and running costs of what about £150 a month it still spends most of his life parked up in the garage. Would never sell it though.

Leaving the car side alone for a mo...

my girlfriends brother has bought me a new microfibre car cleaning mitt :D
Leanne (my gf) has bought me a model calsonic skyline to make myself (although I don't think I'm meant to know that I've got it ;))
Bought myself a Video Camera with the money I had from selling a few bravo related bits.
unsure what my rents will get me, probably pants and socks LOL
