Hi,

Does anybody have a Britax First Class child seat installed in their Ulysse. I bought one from Halfords because they said it would be OK, but I can't get it to fit very well and it is not listed on the Britax website.

I was thinking of buying the Fiat Isofix one instead.

Hi Poggy,

I don't know what problems you are having but we have a Britax Renaissance seat and in order for it to fit properly we had to raise the headrest on that seat and in the end removed it altogether. It was preventing the top of the seat from fitting flush with the back of the car seat.

I've found similar the couple of times we've had my eldest daughter's kids child-seats in the Ulysse - headrest has to move, but we had the same thing in the Espace (previous model) and a 3-year-old Galaxy also......

Having said that, I've also found that tall people sitting in the middle/rear passenger seats have to raise the headrests to be comfortable also. I guess it's a feature of having folding/removable seats.

Hi,

we have six seats in our [ok, not all mine] - one Britax, one Graco, 3 boosters and another booster with back rest! Never had any trouble getting them in and out, apart from the time it takes......

Will find out proper model names from missus!

By the way, none are isofix - we just use the seat belt as instructed.

Ha ha!!!

Only 2 are ours [a 3yo and 10mo] - the rest are child minded kids; one reason we got a big MPV, plus she gets tax relief on it!!!

I have time to moderate coz sit in front of this pc all day at work, from 8 til 5 [with an hour at pub to relax!!!].

Hi Spoke to Britax and the seat was actually tested in the New Ulysse and passed the test. I tried again (with advice from them) and it fits properly now.

So basically I am too stupid to fit a car seat (no comments please) !!!
