Technical Check Trasmission- Drive mode unavailable

Hi, I have a Fiat 500x automatic gearbox - bought 2017 and i have a problem with constantly messages on dashboard : check transmission and drive mode unavailable! the car is still going but when you stop with the breaks then the D light is blinking and the car is not moving and you have to put in Neutral and then again to D so the car is moving again!!!
This happend suddenly yesterday…. and today when i tried again the car the same problem came up after half hour!!!
any Ideas what it could be the reason?

I think its a different gearbox in mine, but I had similar messages coming up on mine.

It turned out it was a duff sensor, which was an easy fix (Under warranty)

You may have to pay for a diagnostic and the sensor, but probably worth it because you can end up stuck in Park
