Got the check engine beep at idle and could feel the hesitation in acceleration.
The hesitation went away after approx 1 km. Went straight to Fiat and got the codes:

P0201 - Injector on cylinder 1
P0300 - Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected

They reset the codes, and said the error was not constant, only came up when I felt the hesitation

Question for you guys:
I got a noisy fuel pump, could that be the problem ?
Is it common to have to change the injector/s ?

Mine is 2001 driven 129.000 km

Hi Joipalli,

Its not unusual for injectors to play up at high mileage. If you can find a diesel specialist they should be able to check them and clean/overhaul them for you. They might be just sooted up. I don't know if the fuel pump would cause this.

Solved !

Removed the injectors and with a multimeter mesured the Ohm's. Got the reading 12.1 Ohm from the faulty one, all others were 14.7 Ohm.

Got a injector from a 100.000 km multipla, replaced the no.1 injector and after few drives (I think I started the car five times, short trips) the light went away and computer stated everything OK !
