Been getting my check engine light approx once a month usually in second gear accelerating. The engine loses power and then check engine comes on and beeps. It then goes off shortly after.

Today the car started but the Revs where really low and it was struggling to get up to idle. The check engine came on shortly after. The car then idled fine.

I’ve also been having problems with idle dropping when any electrical systems are used. Windows etc. It drops rather considerably, to the point of near stalling. I also occasionally get a really unsteady idle at lights, not all the time but it tends to drop and then regain itself and then drop again in a cycle.

Could all these issues be a throttle body issue?

Thanks,
Ross

Been having a few electrical problems come to think. Wondering if there’s a relation:

Remote Stopped Working (although believe this is common)

Fan not worked on 4 for months then randomly after a longish drive it works for a bit then stops again.

Had a fault light bulb indicator on for a week (back N/S break light is out) but the lights now gone off. Despite me not having changed the bulb yet.

Central locking sometimes only works on driver side and the interior lock button fails
Sometimes.

Hi
No doubt you'll get some feedback from the experts on here who really know their stuff. But as a long term Stilo owner, it occurred to me that maybe you have a number of different things going on. In relation to the bulb faults, i get this all the time with the back light clusters - a fault flags up on the dash but the bulbs are fine, seems to be down to poor connection where the wiring plugs into the cluster and I've learned that often just pushing the connector home and/or giving it a bit of a wiggle does the trick.
With the remote, I've got the same with one of my Stilos, which as you say, doesn't seem to be uncommon and as far as I can tell from reading through forum threads this needs to be reset, if that's the right word, either by fiat dealer or using Multiecuscan. S'pose what I'm suggesting is that since i have experienced some of the same issues as you but not all of them, that they are not necessarily all connected. The only other thing i could say is that could your other issues be down to an old battery - i have read on the forum that really weird electrical related things can happen when the car battery is in poor condition?
Don't know if any of that helps any at all......?
Cheers

Aye, forgot to say, the rear light fault thingy does also sometimes just seem to go away of it's own accord, just down to the movement of the car doing the wiggle bit for me, s'pose...?
